We Love Boots & We Show It + Giveaway

Has this happened to you...You pull out your favorite boots from the back of the closet after a long, hot summer to find they are definitely not in the same condition you remember leaving them?! Curled at the toes, pealing at the seams and creases in the leather that just won't straighten out?! I hate to say it, but your favorite boots may have seen better days and will soon be on a one way trip to the thrift store!

To make sure this never happens again or possibly extend your enjoyment of your fabulous footwear, we wanted to share a simple storage DIY that even the most DIY challenged can't mess up (we hope). We also did a little shopping at Daiso, a local Japanese store in our neighborhood, to find some other easy boot storage solutions.



#1. Store boots with a wine bottle inside to help them keep their shape.

So let us break it down into steps.

Step 1. Invite the girls over for wine night this weekend.

Step 2. Eat, drink, laugh and have a good time.

Step 3. IMPORTANT: Do not have a tipsy moment and throw away the empty wine bottles!

Step 4. Rinse the bottles and replace the cap or cork.

Step 5. Place the bottles into your boots.

OKay we know you probably didn't need the play-by-play for this one, but you never know when wine is involved...

#2. Keep your boots standing upright with store bought boot stands.

#3. Preserve boots from outside elements in a boot bag.



A clothes dryer bag. You can find them in all different sizes and they are transparent to easily identify contents.

#4. A Boot Jack (Just for fun we have to throw this in)



For those boots that are hard to get off your foot, The Boot Jack holds your boot in place, while your other foot steps on the other side of the jack to take it off. Call it lazy...we call it a life saver!
