Well, yellow there!! (Sorry, I had to say it) Welcome to the official Yellow Box Shoes Blog, YB!

As you may know, Yellow Box Shop Online opened its virtual doors on November 27^th and everyone here has been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received from all of you! We knew we had fans, but we were surprised to see how loyal, devoted, terrifically amazing, and ‘in love with Yellow Box’ our fans really are. Thank you for all the support and love you’ve shared with us! <3

Since our launch, we have been working as swiftly as possible to bring you our entire footwear collection online, so please keep checking back with us on the regular to see what's new.

From here on out, I’ll be sharing with you our world of shoes, inside The Box (Yellow Box Headquarters in LA) and out.  Because we know good shoes take us all good places, we invite you to be a part of our family and share your insight and adventures with us, as we do with you. So, buckle-up as we kick this fabulous footwear community into high-heeled gear!

PERFECT PAIRINGS: Tall Socks & Boots

With winter weather in full effect, I'm sure most of you have dusted off your favorite boots and booties from the back of the closet, ready to battle the chilly, cold-climate. Even us Angelenos couldn't help but break out our favorite boots for the season even before the temps started dropping to the 60's (That's freezing to us. Yes, we know we are spoiled.)

Maybe you have asked yourself this question like I did, 'How do I style my boots with tall socks?' Should tall socks only be worn with tall boots?  Or can they be worn with booties as well?  Tall socks with tall boots have become pretty common to pair together, so to change things up a bit I thought we could tackle the more unconventional style of pairing booties with tall socks.

This picture flashes through my mind when I think of tall socks. How about you?

And with that fashion from the past flashback, I will spare you all and leave mini-skirts and short-shorts out of this look. Here is Taelyr Robinson, model and actress from ABC Family’s ‘The Vineyard’ wearing the Julianna bootie with tall socks, boho blouse and skinny jeans. No mini-skirts. I repeat, no mini-skirts.
